RNroadmap started with one ICU nurse who believed no student should have to study alone, disorganized, or overwhelmed. Today, it's trusted by thousands of nursing students and RNs across every stage of their careers.
RNroadmap was created by Walner Alcius, a BSN- and CCRN-certified ICU nurse who spent years watching students and new grads drown in scattered, bloated study material. Instead of another generic review course, he built the resource he wished he'd had — one roadmap covering every stage of a nursing career, from CNA all the way to CRNA.

Every guide, flashcard deck, and audio lesson is grounded in real bedside experience, distilled down to exactly what you need to know, minus the fluff. Whether you're prepping for the NCLEX, surviving your first year in the ICU, or chasing a CRNA acceptance letter, RNroadmap meets you exactly where you are — and gets you to where you're going next.
I'm Walner Alcius — an ICU nurse, and the person behind every guide on this site. I remember exactly how overwhelming nursing school felt when I started. Eleven years later — seven of them in the ICU (RN, BSN, CCRN) — I still remember that road.
That's why I created RNroadmap: clear, no-fluff resources written the way a good preceptor explains things on the floor — for every stage, from CNA to CRNA and beyond.
I've walked the hardest parts myself. Chasing CRNA, I took the courses, earned my bachelor's, got into the ICU — I did everything right on paper. But when the interviews came, I struggled. I didn't know what to expect, and I came up short. So I went straight to the source: I gathered everything I could from practicing CRNAs, dug into the research, and built the study guide I never had — so the next nurse walks in ready, not guessing.
Our Mission
From your first nursing school exam to your CRNA acceptance letter, our mission is to simplify the path — one high-yield, easy-to-understand resource at a time.
We break down dense nursing concepts into clear, high-yield content so you spend less time decoding and more time learning.
From nursing school to ICU to CRNA, our resources grow with you — meeting you exactly where you are in your career.
Grounded in real bedside experience, our guides prepare you not just to pass exams, but to succeed on the floor.

Every guide, question, and lesson is built from real bedside knowledge — not recycled textbook theory — so you learn exactly what you need for the exam and the unit floor.

RNroadmap wasn't built in a classroom — it was built at the bedside, shift after shift, by someone who've lived the exact pressure you're facing now. That real-world foundation means every resource is designed to close the gap between passing an exam and actually knowing what to do when it counts.

Real stories, real results — hear and read directly from nursing students and RNs who've walked this path and passed.
